Calendula + Lavender Soothing Salve This product is a labor of love. We start the process each year by planting calendula seeds in early spring. We eagerly await their growth, but do not use any chemicals or sprays on them. We harvest the flowers when they bloom and then begin the drying process. This happens throughout the year, several times. The calendula flowers are then placed into a homemade solar dehydrator and preserved. We then infuse our homegrown organic calendula flowers into organic almond oil. Almond oil is very moisturizing & has a soothing effect on dry skin. Calendula has many healing properties for the skin including wound healing and is anti-bacterial & anti-inflammatory. Ingredients: Almond Oil, Calendula, Beeswax, Shea Butter, Vitamin E Oil, and Lavender Essential Oil.
